CAIRO – 14 October 2017: The preview of the 8th round in England left an unexpected intersection of statements between Mauricio Pochettino and Pep Guardiola, Manchester City`s coach. After Tottenham`s manager, Pochettino, was offended by Pep's words highlighting the good level of Harry Kane.

"I think Pochettino has made a mistake. Never in my career have I disrespected any companion by profession. May be when someone attacks my team or my club I have respond, but I have never wanted to criticize what Pochettino or Tottenham have done,"said Guardiola.

Pep wanted to deny that his words, defining the Tottenham Hotspur as "the team of Harry Kane," were intended to disrespect the whole team. "I know perfectly well that Tottenham is not just Kane. I think that last year the person who appreciated and praised his way of playing the most was me, "he said.

Pochettino and Guardiola have met as rivals in their stages as players, in Espanyol and Barça respectively, and now they do again from the bench.
